A revitalized the Russian player won his first championship for nearly 30 months with success over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult period, managing just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in especial - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with former mentor Cervara.
Presently working with Johansson and Goetzke, he has consistently improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a tightly fought competitive triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's first title following the Italian tournament and first on a hardcourt after spring of 2023.
The win also means Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at 21 different tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a tournament with my both daughters together, so to win a championship is particularly special," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had lost his previous six finals, including in that event in the past months.
His defensive play style and recurring outbursts on the playing surface had prompted commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the highest level was finished.
But the athlete has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and compete aggressively, supported by an better serve.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the last five points to gain the advantage.
The pair traded break points in the following set before Moutet, attempting for his first professional championship, gained dominance to create a final set.
He defended 4 initial chances in a competitive deciding set before the Russian won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, the winner secured the title with a point at the net area, with the Frenchman failing to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
