Uche Fuels Comfortable Crystal Palace Triumph at Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their first-ever European adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are learning at a rapid pace. Missing star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct entry to the knockout stages, especially following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion provided a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in match.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
